Rich Family Smart Family: Raise Your Family's Financial IQ and Take Control of Your Future

By Ann Packer

Paperback: pr8309279

Pub Date: Oct 2025

Financial intelligence begins with financial literacy. And Robert Kiyosaki reminds us that "our minds are our greatest assets."

"Financial literacy gives you the tools to build your personal financial statement... which tells you the story about how you are managing your cash flow. The language of money can be confusing and intimidating. But, like it or not, “money”―in all of its shapes and forms―is a part of our daily lives. And the more we understand money, and the language of money, the more power we have over our future. Words are the most powerful tools you can possess. Challenge yourself―and your family―to master the language of money. The lessons in this book are simple ones and, like those in Rich Dad Poor Dad, they have guided me over the years. I learned that the path to wealth wasn’t about being obsessed with getting the high-paying job or striving for the next promotion and pay raise. I learned that my financial destiny was not dependent upon my boss, a pay raise, the company, the economy, or luck. I learned that I could be in control."

Your Multilingual Solution For Material In Over 25 Languages

Sourcing material for your multilingual collection can prove to be a challenge!  Library Bound is pleased to be your one-stop supplier for print and audio-visual material in 29 languages.

Once we have established the types of world language material the library is looking for, LBI works with a supplier to order material that fits their guidelines. We work with various suppliers in each language to identify what types of material are popular amongst each region, focusing on bestselling authors and titles that are expected to have longevity within the collection. LBI then reviews the material once it arrives to ensure it meets the libraries criteria.

We consult with our longstanding distributors for suggestions of popular World Language material. We also read reviews from professional publications like Library Journal and Publishers Weekly for any recommended international titles to include in future orders. For Spanish material, we review publisher’s catalogues and websites for updates on new releases and popular titles. LBI orders Spanish material on a monthly basis, and otherwise all other world language material is delivered once a year.

We currently source material in Arabic, Bengali, Chinese (Simplified & Traditional), Dutch, Farsi, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Gujarati, Hebrew, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Punjabi, Romanian, Russian, Serbian, Somali, Spanish, Tagalog, Tamil, Turkish, Ukrainian, Urdu and Vietnamese. This includes adult and juvenile print, as well as AV material when available.

Supplying Your Cataloguing and Unique Processing Needs for 25 years

LBI’s cataloguing services provide great flexibility, and custom requirements, due to the sophistication of the proprietary MARC Record Production System, which has recently been upgraded to allow increased efficiency and accuracy during the cataloguing process and for MARC record customization. This system allows us to provide Library specific coding for such things as call numbers, custom GMDs, enhanced subfield coding in subject headings, notes fields, series changes and Library specific MARC tags and holdings fields. All of these changes are set in the Library’s profile. The custom changes and call numbers are then incorporated into the records based upon the pre-defined logic when the MARC records are uploaded into the Cataloguing database. This allows the Library great flexibility at no additional costs or MARC production restrictions to either LBI or the Library.

The system also provides the processing department with custom labels (spine labels, smart barcodes) and instruction sheets derived from the same pre-defined logic to ensure consistency and accuracy of material processing.

Our ability to efficiently deliver shelf-ready material of consistently high-quality ranks us among the top suppliers of processing services.
